A pair of shoes I am modeling for my char for an organic project at tafe the shoes need some work but they're not going to be under the spotlight too much the detail does not need to be that great.
They need a tongue and laces still.

This is something I made today in AE5,
its been awhile since i updated I was having trouble getting programs on my computer after I upgraded it but all seems well for now.

So I am fascinated by After Effects ability to use music amplitude values as the values for effects and the visual effects you can make to audio using this, so this is just the beginning of the mind melting things I hope to discover as I learn how to make the most of this.

Also This song is not by me, just to clarify.
The song is Retreat by Datsik, an amazing Dub Step artist.
If you like Dub Step I suggest you look him up.

painted this up last night its a drop bar for my bike i got it off an old racing bike sanded it down proper with paint stripper and although its chromed metal i got it back to a fine condition no rust then i sprayed it carefully. After a lick of paint i gave it a spray of sealent that i could polish back to a smooth finish and so it was a little harder to chip off.

I was still getting the method and finish right seeing if this worked and im v happy with these results needs som patch work though. Now i need to finish them with some grip tape wrap and smack them on the ride.

hmmmm this just isnt right
I mean there are no textures and no lighting adustments or colour corrections
its just so damn hard to line up the angle of the wheel.
maybe I just cant imagine it yet.

This is for a personal project im working on for my showreel I dont want to say what it the final produrt will be but it will be a compisition of 3d using after effects and its going to be FREAKING hard but it will let who ever it is viewing my showreel that I can do many things that will impress them as it covers many skills.

Working on this bearing was frustrating as anything trying to get it perfect scale, I used one out of an old setup as a reference and also scrolled through countless pictures on google and looked on bearing websites to find what dimensions I could.

Oh and the bearing is all separate parts and i need to work on the smoothing still its a bit to smooth atm.

Downloaded the star wars saga the other day so I was inspired to build a podracer you can see the resemblance with the design and a few of the originals but I am not following any plan.

This was my first attempt to apply the technique of UV unwrapping I have learnt in my 3D modelling class, a barrel was a simple model to texture. I am happy with the way they render but I need to find away to randomize the texture maps a little, other wise ill have a lot of the same barrel.

Just the latest of my renders on the mech and some barrels I created to place in my scene, also a logo I made out of the old "ghost bear legacy" the original is show here in blue. It was good to use Ps a little again.

Still working on this fellow I tried to make him walk but of course because I haven't learnt to rig so life's a bit hard but using just hierarchy I managed to get some very rigid, liner movement.
im learning how to uv unwrap and such at tafe at the moment so that should be interesting to apply to this model, I still need to finish this model to get it perfect.
